We present a coscaling-grid formalism and its implementation in the magnetohydrodynamics code Athena++. The relies on flow symmetries astrophysical problems involving expansion, contraction, center-of-mass motion. grid is evolved at same time order as fluid variables. user specifies evolution laws, which can be independent of Applying our to standard hydrodynamic test cases leads improved results higher efficiency, compared fixed-grid solutions.
